UPDATE, Feb. 24:

Milling began on Brenton Crossing today, Feb. 24. When Brenton Crossing is complete, the contractor will resurface and pave Watercrest Drive from Highway 280 to Brenton Crossing. Monticello Drive will not be included in this paving project.

Feb. 21, 2025:

Auburn, Ala. - A contractor will perform road resurfacing and paving work in Asheton Lakes from Monday, Feb. 24, to Wednesday, March 12.

Areas of impact include:

• Brenton Crossing
• Brenton Lane
• Monticello Drive

Work will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the project with measures in place to direct traffic around the closures. Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling in the area and to be mindful of crews working during this time.
